 India is set to witness a major leap in semiconductor technology with the establishment of its first cutting-edge military semiconductor chip manufacturing plant, as highlighted in a recent agreement with the United States. This groundbreaking development will mark a significant milestone in India’s defense and technology sectors, reinforcing the country’s position as a global player in advanced electronics. Initially, the Shakti plant aims to produce 50,000 units annually during its first phase, generating employment for 700 people.
